Participants of Amazonian native populations were gathering at the city's educational institution for the opening of a parallel Public Assembly.
Pictures captured participants dancing, singing and mingling at the event, on the campus of the Federal University of Para, just a couple of miles from the negotiation location where the global environmental conference is taking place.
